Starting a free trial#

1. From Your org → Billing, pick a plan from the grid.
2. Click Start trial.
3. Meletema redirects you to Stripe Checkout. Even though it's a free trial, Stripe collects payment info up front — that's how it auto-charges when the trial ends.
4. Enter your card details and submit.
5. Stripe sends you back to Meletema with a success state.

Your subscription is now Trialing. The billing page shows "Trial ends in N days" and the features in the plan are immediately active.

Cancelling before the trial ends#

Click Manage billing on the billing page. Stripe's portal opens with cancellation options. Cancel and you won't be charged — gated features stay on until the trial's natural end date, then drop.

What happens when the trial ends#

• Stripe charges your card for the first month.
• The subscription transitions to Active.
• Nothing changes for you UI-wise — features stay on.

If the card fails, the subscription goes to Past due for a few days while Stripe retries. Features remain available during the grace period.
