Signing up#

Creating a Meletema account takes four steps: register, verify your email, choose a plan, and add a card to start your free trial. The app opens once all four are done.

1. Register#

Go to the Sign up page (or click Start free trial on a plan on the Pricing page) and fill in:

• Name and Email address — your own.
• Organization name — your school, department, or team. Everyone you invite later shares this organization and its plan, so name it for the group rather than for yourself (e.g. Lincoln High Science). It doesn't have to be unique, and you can rename it anytime under Your org → Settings.
• Password.

You become the organization's admin (billing, members, LMS connections), and you can compose decks yourself too.

If you started from a specific plan on the Pricing page, Meletema remembers that choice for step 3.

2. Verify your email#

Meletema emails you a verification link. Click it to continue. Until you do, the app sends you back to the Verify your email screen.

Didn't get the email? Check your spam folder, then click Resend verification email.

3. Choose a plan#

The verification link takes you to your organization's Billing page, with a Choose a plan to open the stoa banner at the top. Pick monthly or annual billing, then click Start trial on a plan. If you chose a plan on the Pricing page, it's marked Your pick.

4. Add a card and start your trial#

Meletema sends you to Stripe Checkout. A card is required even though the trial is free: it keeps spam sign-ups out and lets your subscription continue when the trial ends. You aren't charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then from the billing portal.

When you come back, you'll see "Card saved. Confirming your trial with Stripe" for a few seconds, and then your dashboard opens.

If you leave before finishing#

Nothing is charged until you complete Stripe Checkout. Log back in and you'll land on the plan step again. Your profile, billing page, and support tickets stay available in the meantime.

Joining an existing organization instead#

If your colleagues already use Meletema, don't sign up — ask one of their admins to invite you from Your org → Members. Invited teammates join that organization and its plan, with no separate plan or card. See Managing members.

Students never sign up. They reach decks through your LMS or a practice link.
